hey guys, im back from my second camp. its totally awesome! :D $50 is worth for SMUX camp. everyday was full of activities and fun. woots... i even lost 2 kg, great slimming program..heehee...and no clubbing and drinking involved!
1st day, we started off with some games such as tag of war, laser gun war blah blah (not stupid dirty games that involve chicken or peanut butter like the first camp! ) then, went rollar blading in afternoon and ice skating in the night. the ice skating was super cool! SMUX book the whole Jurong ice skating ring from 10pm till 2am! so it was all SMUX campers. we played games on the ice and form one LONG human chain. then we went changi to pitch our tents and sleep...zZz...2nd day was yet another exciting day. biking for 3 hours, followed by diving, snorkeling and underwater hockey. diving was really a very fun activity. i had difficulty remembering to breath through my mouth at first, but eventually got used to it and started doing dumb stuff underwater...hee...shall not tell u more :P...then, my super enthu group went out to bencooleen road to have supper till 5am and saw our freaking bill of $120!!!... ah, so my last day was super tired. i only had 3 hours of slp lor and next went fort canning park for amazing race and then followed by hiking from MacRitchie to Bukit Timah... 10km long leh!!! i think it was supposed to be 2 hours long, but due to our slowness it dragged till 4 hours long... haha...on the way, we had fruit hunting- we found durians and rambutans and ate on our way! i had a great time *woots... but im so very tanned now :( skin rashing too :(... i want to join SMUX as an CCA very badly leh, but that means 1.giving up dance 2.expensive!(one diving course cost $400+)......urgh
anyway, i've gotten my timetable for first sem... i guess mine is consider rather good, only having lessons on mon, wed and thurs :) and no night class... but all morning class...zzz... im still considering if i shall find a part time job on tue and fri... should i??? or take up more tuition classes??? ---ahhh! talking about tuition classes... i just scolded my tuition girl(the girl in MI) till she almost tear... (a little guilty), but im seriously worried for her... her "A" levels is only 3-4 months away? and she still cant grasp many basic concepts! i told her plenty of times to READ READ READ her lectures notes, but she kept doing papers and papers... she dont even know how to walk, she's already trying to run... HAIX~ i hope those ppl out there who are stressed up for "A"s can hold on... u guys can enjoy later on! like me :D lol...
after these two camps i went, i have more or less experienced SMU culture and people...i guess i can fit in, but it is not what i am like... they are alot more wild, daring, straight forward, funloving, open... i must say its diff from css or pjc culture. well, i will surely be influenced to fit in, but i wont go too extreme... im still the florence you know, dont worry! haha... (sometimes), i do love their straight forward-ness and open-ness, just seems to make things more simplify, and less complicated? haha, i shall find out more and tell u...
the next chapter of my life is just about to unfold... i hope frens i knew will stay with me throughout; i hope that as i make new frens, i do not lose my old frens... i really hope so...
