woots... i love my classes today. i love leadership & teambuilding, analytical skills & critical thinking. i love my prof!!! they rox man...
my prof for leadership & teambuilding is a fine lady and a realli nice pleasant lady. just love her <3
my prof for analytical skills is a burly man(ang moh) in his late fifties. he is cute, humourous and dramatic. he sings in the middle of the lesson and flirt with pretty girls in the class; he is some1 i can imagine as a womanizer when he was younger... but i still love him <3
as for my prof for creative thinking... she is some1 crazy. really crazy... she starts shouting one moment, starts acting as some imaginary character the other moment and disregard everyone else in the class(she was once an actress, you see)... but her lessons are nothing but live entertainment. <3

anyway the courses im taking on for this sem are:
1. Business Law (pre-assigned) :( :(
2. Academic Writing (pre-assigned) :(
3. Leadership & Teambuilding (pre-assigned) :)
4. Analytical skills & Creative Thinking :)
5. Intro to Stats
6. Facilitation and Counselling Skills (tml will be my 1st lesson) (0.5 mod)
im taking 5.5 mod in total. its advisable for freshmen to take only 4 mod. with a max of 6.5 mod. i think im gonna be a good girl, listen to advice and drop one mod(LOL)... most prob its Intro to Stats. cos its boring!
anyway, i forgot to mention, Academic Writing sux! its a money-sucking-subject lor. im pre assigned that cos my GP got D :( the story is: i was STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to take up additional courses that cost $20 per course! and with every course i take up, it will upgrade my Academic Writing grades. they are just trying to suck my $$$. and the max i can take is 4 course. which is $20 x 4 = $80
which means, if i get C+ and i take up 4 courses ($80), my grades will be "upgraded" to A-! (C+ to B- to B to B+ to A-) WOAH! its like using $ to buy my grades! SUX MAN!
yea, of course i can choose to be stubborn and dont take up any courses, but come on, it means my grades are at stack. SO, THEY ARE INDIRECTLY TELLING ME TO CHOOSE BTW MY GRADES AND MY $$$. which are both precious to me! they are so cunning, insidious, sly... im considering reporting them to the DEAN's lah...heehee nah im joking, i dont wan my name to be well known to all during my first year in SMU :p
but, im feel so INDIGNIFY! :( i cant bear with my $$$... HAHA
BUSINESS LAW IS TOUGH. i freaking hate all the law terms. i do admire the law students now. how can they stand all the technical law terms??? its confusing for such a small-brain person like me. and to argue your way throu... yea to some ppl, its really interesting...but i guess i cant score well...so it SUX.
anyway, SMU system is really diff from JC. we do not have lectures nor tutorials. its all seminar style, with lots of participation and real class participation. good thing is that i have a lower chance of feeling tired, will not fall asleep and do feel engaged during the classes. bad thing is that i still dont dare to shout out my inner feelings to everyone...im still trying...so that i dont lose out on 10%-20% of my class participation marks!
okay lah, enough of me complaining and rattling. im still happy with my THURSAYS :D
heehee. tml is VIVACE - CCA openhouse... i guess its gonna be exciting
